eco.kid – Effective Application of Lice Bomb Treatment

Lice Bomb Treatment
For sensitive scalps please follow the patch test procedure described, particularly if you or you child has sensitive skin.
eco.kid Lice Bomb can be effective at highly diluted levels. If irritation persists at a diluted level of 5;1 (vegetable oil to Lice Bomb) then it is not recommended to use Lice Bomb

Once you are confident that the child is not sensitive to the essential oils used in Lice Bomb you can proceed with application.

Apply a small amount of Lice Bomb to the scalp beginning at the nape and behind the ears.

Massage the oils through the roots of the hair in an upward motion towards the crown, then towards the forehead.

Apply small droplets of oil as required to enable thorough coverage without dripping or running of excessive oil. Pay careful attention not to get the essential oils into the eyes as this will cause stinging (flush thoroughly if eye contact does occur)

Once a thin film has been achieved on the entire scalp begin to comb the hair from roots to ends with a fine tooth nit comb. This will ensure that any head lice trying to escape the solution by traveling up the hair shaft will be removed from the hair and ultimately killed.

Wipe dead head lice and eggs from the fine tooth nit comb on a tissue as you proceed through the hair.

Leave Lice Bomb on the hair for up to 20 minutes. Repeat the combing procedure at regular intervals during the processing time.

Rinse the hair using warm water

Lightly shampoo to remove the oil's residue from the hair and scalp with eco.kid Prevent Sensitive Shampoo.

Do not use eco.kid Prevent Shampoo to cleanse off Lice Bomb as Prevent Shampoo contains high levels of essential oil and therefore a double application of these oils may create a stinging of the scalp for a short time

Use eco.kid Prevent or Prevent Sensitive Shampoo and Nourish Hydrating Conditioner the day after and from then on to help deter any reinfestation.
